At Awesome Home Services, we believe that showing up matters, especially for the people and places that make Colorado Springs such a wonderful place to live. Giving back isn’t a side project for us; it’s a core part of our identity.
From local events to neighborhood cleanups, here are a few ways we’ve recently engaged with the community:
Trunk or Treat
Partner: We Are Black Forest
We teamed up with We Are Black Forest for its annual Trunk or Treat, transforming one of our vans into a festive Halloween stop for local kids. Our crew dressed up, decorated one of our vans, and handed out candy to families enjoying the event. We Are Black Forest is a volunteer-run organization that unites people through fun, inclusive events, and we’re excited to support the energy it brings to the Black Forest community.
Food Drive
Partner: Food Bank of the Rockies
Access to food should never be a barrier to living well. We partnered with the Food Bank of the Rockies to help address hunger right here at home. Our team organized a community food drive, inviting employees, customers, and neighbors to contribute. Together, we collected nearly 200 pounds of food—proof that small efforts add up quickly when people come together.
Festival of Lights Parade
Partner: Colorado Springs Festival of Lights, BPI
This iconic holiday parade illuminates not just the streets, but the entire community. With help from our friends at BPI, we decorated a float for the Festival of Lights and joined the procession through downtown Colorado Springs. Handing out candy and soaking in the celebration, we were proud to be part of a tradition that brings so much joy to our city.
Power Play for Charity
Partner: KRDO, Colorado College Hockey
We partnered with KRDO and Colorado College Hockey to participate in the Power Play for Charity initiative. Local businesses selected organizations to support during the hockey season, and we were proud to donate $5,000 to the Special Olympics. Championing inclusion and opportunity aligns with everything we believe in, and collaborating with others to achieve this makes it even better..2506111332373.jpg)
Switchbacks
Partner: Switchbacks
Soccer fans, we can’t wait to see you at the Sea of Cyan! As sponsors of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, we’re excited to show up on game days and connect with the community. Our booth at the pregame fanzone is the perfect spot to say hello, learn more about what we do, and cheer on the team together. Our first stop this season is June 14th. Season ticket holders get to enjoy the perks of a waived $89 Consultation Fee with Awesome Home Services! 
Keep COS Awesome
Every month, we hit the streets on a Saturday to help keep Colorado Springs clean. From sidewalks to trails, parks to parking lots—we choose a new area to focus on and invite the community to join us.
